Monday blues

Hari ni malas nak ckp byk-byk even rasa mcm-mcm nak cerita. Tp teruja sket selepas baca kosmo online pasal Dr. Halina wife Dato Dr Sheikh Muszaphar bersalin guna kaedah dlm air di Hospital Pantai Bangsar last 21st July aritu.

Saya ade jugak baca pasal kaedah ni agak byk dipilih di US. Sbbnye kalau tak silap kaedah ni kurang sakit & less koyak kat "situ" tu kan. Tp kat Malaysia ni kaedah ni belum meluas lagi. Kalau nak buat pun kepakaran pun masih kurang & tataula ade ke tak. Yg kes Dr Halina ni tataula kalau die import specialist dr US ke.

Kalau nak tgk mcmane rupenye water birth ni cuba tgk kat youtube. Hopefully 1 ari nanti bole buat kaedah ni. :)

Wanita Malaysia Tangga ke-16 Stress di Dunia

Harini terbaca kat NST yg wanita kat Malaysia ni stress ditangga ke-16 dunia dgn kadar 44%. Huhh dunia tu beb. Yg ditangga pertama wanita di India dgn kadar 87%. Kalau difikirkan logik jugak dgn angka tu. Mana taknya. Kat Malaysia university ramai penuntut siswi. Kalau dlm sektor awam pun ramai penjawat awam wanita. Ramai wanita dah mula berkerjaya & memgang jawatan tinggi. Tanggungjawab pun akan bertambah. Kat opis kene puchcard bile balik rumah pun kene puchcard lg. Kalau wanita-wanita/ibu2 yg bekerja ni fahamla kan? Agak-agak kalau buat servey lelaki di Malaysia ni dpt tempat ke berape ye?

Image credit to 123 Royalty Free Photo

Rase-rasa apa sbbnya hampir separuh wanita kat Malaysia ni ramai yg stress ye? Ade dgr kat Hot.fm pagi tadi. Salah satu sbb takut suami kawen lain. Yelah lelaki kat Malaysia ni kan esp yg Islam bole kawen lebih dr satukan. Tp yg plg tak bole tahan plak stress sbb tak dpt ape yg diinginkan. Adela sorg caller ni, die ckp salah satu punca stress bila tgk org lain lebih. So isteri akan mintak kat suami. Kalau suami xdpt nak penuhi haa mula lah rase stress dan buat mcm-mcm hal. Bg saya tu mmg silap sendiri la. Sape soh nak dengki dgn org lain yg ade lebih kan. Ikut kemampuanla. Live within your means. Baru bole happy! Antara lain-lain sbb yg bole difikirkan lagi:

Bebanan kerja di ofis - ofis byk sgt kerja. Tekanan dgn keje lagi, bos lagi-date line/target, sometimes dgn ofismate lagi.byknye nak pk

Takde rehat yg cukup - Dah la kat ofis tekanan. Blk umah plak kene masak utk family. Sambil masak nak solat, anak nangis p entertain anak jap.Pastu sambung masak.Siap masak kemas dapur. Then bg suami makan. Suami kenyang die lepak anak tak peduli.Anak nangis lagi sbb nak tdo.Dgn tak dinner perut berkeroncong ni p tdokan anak. Sambil tdokan anak terpandang plak kat longgokan kain yg tak berlipat lagi. haa mane tak STRESS kan?eheh itu satu contoh la.

Bebanan Kewangan - Memandangkan ramai wanita belajor tinggi & berpangkat so slalunye la wanita akan kuar duit lagi lebih. Tak kira la gaji byk ke sikit. Ini byk saya dgr. Jadi more than 50% wanita akan tanggung kos yg pelbagai. Kos sara anak termasukla nursery ke susu ke, brg dapur, mak kat kampung, adik kat university, hutang ptptn dan sebagainyela lagi. Kalau nak jln2 anak minta apa-apa mesti ayah dia akan ckp "pi mintak kat mama" - biasa sgt dgr ayat tu. Itu tak termasuk kalau ade hutang kad credit. Ha lagi la stress.

Suami buat perangai - ha tak cukup dgn tekanan td. Suami plak buat perangai. Pulak dah. Nape? Slalu lelaki akan ckp "Saya rasa dia lebih memahami saya" atau "Bila dgn dia saya rasa tenang, tak mcm kat rumah serabut kepala" atau " Haih..tak selera dah aku nengok bini aku tu, kedut sana karat sini" haa nak salahkan sapa tu?Takkanla salahkan isteri je kot bang?Suami pun kene la jaga isteri tu jugak. Kalau penat sampaikan nak makan pun tak sempat inikan nak jaga badan kan. Lenla kalau disediakan org gaji ke. Kalau tak mampu tlgla wifey tu buat keje umah or jaga anak. Give some her some me-time for herself or pamper isteri relax kat spa kadang2. Bukan sparring ngan anak2 kat umah.

Lambat dpt anak - Yang ni mmg isu sensitif. Ye la sape tak sensitif kan. Dah bertahun kawen or baru setahun kawen org asek dok tanye bile nak ade baby. Masing-masing ade plan sndiri kan. Ade org nak anak cpt (mcm saye hihi :)) ade org plak nak anak lambat sket ikut plan masing-masing lah kan. Dan yg sedih lagi mmg belum rezeki Allah nak bg lagi. Pastu plak mertua dok push, mak dok bising blk kampung org dok tanya, p kenduri org dok cerita. Maunya tak stress. Lagi stress kalau hubby nakk kawen lain atas alasan yg cenggini..huuhuu..STRESS

Lambat Kawen - Bila lambat kawen ni emosi cepat tak stabil. Ye lah kan, sume stress nak tanggung sorg2. Penat takde sape nak urut. Sedih ke marah ke happy ke takde sape nak berkongsi perasaan. Berckp pun ngan kucing je. Itu pun kalau ade kan.

Haa itula serba-sedikit punca-punca wanita stress kat Malaysia ni yang bole difikirkan. Korang ade tambahan lagi? Next entry kite cari pulak mcmane nak atasi stress & mengubati stress ni ye.

Sekarang ni tgh gila nak cr idea utk deco umah. Esp our living room & kitchen. Target: hurmm tatau bile. Depends on our budget. Skarang ni ekonomi rumahtangga cukup2 saje. Plan nak buat sket2 dulu. For the time being nak start menggantung TV so kene crr wall bracketlah kan. Si kenet dah pandai tepuk2 the screen. Bukan takut screen TV kotor tp takut si kenet di hempap TV. Kene cr cepat2 ni. I'd seen in Ikea web sgt murah RM49. Last year price was RM199. Tp masalahnye malas nak g Ikea skarang ni. Takpe2 just put it in the list first. Kalau ada masa bole lari ke Ikea jap.

Bracket Rm49 kat Ikea. Ade sapa2 nak g beli tak?

Kenyataan KFC Berkenaan Video Jijik

Last 4th July saya ada terjumpa satu video psal sorg budak yg dipercayai pekerja KFC buat benda yg menjijikkan pd ayam yg tgh diuli dgn tepung. Bole ke mamat ni meleretkan peha ayam yg dah bersalut tepung tu kat tapak kasut dia. Sungguh kurang ajar budak itu! Oleh krn sgt hangin dgn tindakan mamat sbb kegemaran ku ayam KFC yg peha plak tu, saya pun buat aduan kat PPIM

Utk pengetahuan semua video tu dah di remove from youtube.

Alhamdulillah arini dpt reply from them. Lots of thanks to PPIM yg mnjadi medium pengantara between org awam mcm kita ni dgn peniaga. So kwn2 kalau tak puas hati /nak buat aduan/ nak dptkan penjelasan ttg servis/produk bolehla hantarkan email/call/walk in kat PPIM spt yg tertera dibawah:

Assalamualaikum w.b.t
Terima kasih kerana berinteraksi dengan PPIM. Berhubung aduan tuan, pihak kami telah cuba mendapatkan penjelasan dari ihak KFC, dan berikut adalah kenyataan rasmi dari pihak KFC sendiri
.
"The following is our official statement:

Last October, KFC Malaysia was approached by an individual with a copy of a video clip depicting a person tampering with the food whilst in the course of preparing it. The company views the making of this video clip as a malicious act and a blatant attack on the company. We took immediate action and reported the incident to the police.
On June 25, we found that the video was uploaded on to YouTube.
We wish to highlight to all our customers, patrons and members of the public that this is an isolated case. Since October 2010, we have taken all the necessary and reasonable measures to prevent such occurrences including installing Close Circuit Television (‘CCTV’) at the kitchen area of KFC outlets.
KFC upholds the highest standards of hygiene and quality in all aspects of our business. In Malaysia, and around the world, our employees are dedicated to providing quality, wholesome and safe food. We take this incident seriously. We shall continue to review recruitment and training processes to ensure it won’t happen again. Our team of 9,700 chefs, waiters, waitresses and other valued employees across Malaysia will continue to deliver the great service and quality which KFC is known for.
On behalf of KFC Malaysia we would like to thank you for your valued support."

Sedihnye

I feel very very very veryyyyyyyyy sad!Itulah yg sya rasa sekarang. Tak tahulah kenapa. Makin nak menjelang esok makin sedih & risau. Mudah-mudahan everything will go well. Mudah-mudahan semuanya ok. Bukan sbb apa. Ni semua pasal perhimpunan BERSIH tu la. BERSIH ke?huhu.

Tak fahamla org Melayu yg majoritynya org Islam ni. Fikirla habis-habis before buat sesuatu. Honestly sya mmg xsokong mana-mana. Tapi tak payahla nak join perhimpunan yg cenggitu. Takde mananya oii korang. Mula-mula tu sya terfikir gakla ape bendenya perhimpunan BERSIH ni. So, mcm beselah start mencari jawapan dialam maya. Ooouhhhhhh pasal nak pastikan proses election betul2 'BERSIH' gamaknye. Saya pun xbole nak jamin mana-mana party yg naik akan buat a clean election. Agak impossible. Adatla tu, mana-mana party yg berkuasa mesti nak menjaga kedudukan diorgkan. Tplah kan...kalau ikotkan last election, opposition party menang kat byk negeri gak kan? Selangor..negeri yg kaya tu. Rasa-rsanya la kalau KOTOR sgt election tu sure xdpt kat opposition. Itu salah satu contoh logik yg bole difikirkanla. A very simple one yg terbit kat kepala ni. Ermmm rasanya ni mcm ada agenda tertentu. Samada politik or ada agenda individu yg berkepentingan tertentu..mcm-mcm kemungkinan bole difikirkan.

Mmg sya sgtttttt TIDAK menyokong such rally. Menyusahkan. Nak buat revolusi? Byk lagi cara. Allah dah bagi petunjuk yg terang jelas lagi nyata. Apa yg saya nampak kat negara-negara arab sekarang ni byk yg nak jatuhkan kerajaan masing-masing. Atas alasan nak perjuangkan hak rakyat. Menteri byk makan duit rakyat. Tujuannya mmg betul. Tp cuba dok pk baik-baik, caranya tu betul ke idak? Sampai berperang, menyusahkan org awam, harta benda rosak. Nyawa pun ada yg terkorban. Barat pun masuk campur. Apasal barat nak masuk campur? Sebuk-sebuk kat negara org. Alasan diorg sbb dah langgar rules antarabangsa. Tp bila fikir-fikir balik, org Islam dok perang dlm negara sendiri. Org kafir ape lagi, ambil kesempatan la meruntuh & melemahkan semuanya. Minyak pun byk. Lg kelabu mata diorg. Betul ke cara yg cenggitu. Malu rasanya.

Apa yg jd kat negara kita sekarang ni, taklah seteruk tu. Nauzubillah. Mintak dijauhkan. Tp ttp ade persamaan. Cuma jln cerita ja lain. Korg tau sapa ketua BERSIH ni? Ha mai sini nak habaq. Nama dia Ambiga Sreenevasan. She's the one whom chaired BERSIH ni. She was the layer of Lina Joy yg dah murtad tu & she's also the one stood up for religious tolarance. So, fikir-fikirkanlah. Sapa kita nak sokong & sapa kita nak jadikan ketua. Nak salahkan dia pun tak bole kan. Sbb dia bukan muslim. May b dia tak paham ttg prinsip Islam tu mcmana. Tp kita sbg org Islam haruslah mempertahankan agama kita. Seeloknya dgn cara yg penuh berhikmah. Tanpa sebarang tindakan yg boleh menyusahkan mana-man pihak & menyakitkan sapa-sapa. Jgn sampai kita ni diperalatkan sudah.

Katakan TAKMAU!:

Hopefully esok tak ramaila turun. Hopefully ramai yg sedar dan buka mata. This rally is just a waste of time. Hopefully everything will be just fine. & hopefully Malaysia sentiasa aman & damai dgn rakyatnya yg berbilang kaum. Dan yang plg penting Agama Islam terpelihara. Aminn YaRabbalAalaminn.

Does Your Skin Care Product Contain These Chemicals?

Attn: This Article was C & P from PPIM Official Blog.

Why don’t you run and get a bottle of any of the skin moisturizers that you are currently using. You might find that your personal care products contain one or probably more of many possibly dangerous ingredients.

Here are a few of the most common suspicious ingredients:
  1. · Mineral Oil, Paraffin, and Petrolatum - Petroleum products that coat the skin like plastic, clogging pores and creating a build-up of toxins, which in turn accumulate and can lead to dermatologic issues. Slows cellular development, which can cause you to show earlier signs of aging. Suspected cause of cancer. Disruptive of hormonal activity. By the way, when there’s an oil spill in the ocean, don’t they rush to clean it up – fast? Why put that stuff on your skin?
  2. · Parabens - Widely used as preservatives in the cosmetic industry (including moisturizers). An estimated 13,200 cosmetic and skin care products contain parabens. Studies implicate their connection with cancer. They have hormone-disrupting qualities – mimicking estrogen – and interfere with the body’s endocrine system.
  3. · Phenol carbolic acid - Found in many lotions and skin creams. Can cause circulatory collapse, paralysis, convulsions, coma and even death from respiratory failure.
  4. · Propylene glycol -  Used as a moisturizer in cosmetics and as a carrier in fragrance oils. Shown to cause dermatitis, kidney or liver abnormalities, and may inhibit skin cell growth or cause skin irritation.· Acrylamide - Found in many hand and face creams. Linked to mammary tumors in lab research.
  5. · Sodium laurel or lauryl sulfate (SLS), also known as sodium laureth sulfate (SLES)– Found in car washes, engine degreasers, garage floor cleaners… and in over 90% of personal care products! SLS breaks down the skin’s moisture barrier, easily penetrates the skin, and allows other chemicals to easily penetrate. Combined with other chemicals, SLS becomes a “nitrosamine”, a potent class of carcinogen. It can also cause hair loss. SLES is sometimes disguised with the labeling “comes from coconut” or “coconut-derived”.· Toluene – Poison! Danger! Harmful or fatal if swallowed! Harmful if inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Made from petroleum or coal tar, and found in most synthetic fragrances. Chronic exposure linked to anemia, lowered blood cell count, liver or kidney damage, and may affect a developing fetus. Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) contains toluene. Other names may include benzoic and benzyl.
  6. · Dioxane– Found in compounds known as PEG, Polysorbates, Laureth, ethoxylated alcohols. Common in a wide range of personal care products. The compounds are usually contaminated with high concentrations of highly volatile 1,4-dioxane, easily absorbed through the skin.Dioxane’s carcinogenicity was first reported in 1965 and later confirmed in studies including one from the National Cancer Institute in 1978. Nasal passages and liver are the most vulnerable. Dioxane is easily removed during the manufacturing process by “vacuum stripping”. Warning: It is a synthetic derivative of coconut. Watch for hidden language on labels, such as “comes from coconut”.

So, do you want to put these chemicals on your skin? Hopefully not...
You’d be better served by switching to skin care products made of plant names you recognize, can pronounce, and could even eat (if you had to).

Organic Virgin Coconut Oil Virgin coconut oil is an ideal way to rejuvenate your skin.

It protects against formation of damaging free radicals, and is also used to protect skin from blemishes, signs of aging or overexposure to sunlight. Coconut oil also keeps the skin’s connective tissues strong and supple.
Coconut oil offers a youthful appearance to your skin by removing the outer layer of dead skin cells, making the skin smoother.
It can even penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin and strengthen the underlying tissues. It can be a factor in healing and repairing age-damaged skin — unlike most lotions.
Naturally, you want to choose a high-quality organic coconut oil free of chemicals, and without bleach or hydrogenation (which can irritate your skin), to experience its maximum benefits.
As great as coconut oil and aloe vera are, I didn’t stop there either, to bring you the best skin care product possible. Jojoba oil has some spectacular benefits, so I had to be sure you could benefit from it, too.
Natural Palm Oil
Palm oil is considered by some to be nature's gift to the world.
Consumed for more than 5,000 years, its nutritional value, health benefits and value as a natural resource continue to be discovered even today.

Palm oil is nutrient-dense and contains many potent antioxidants, including beta-carotene, a precursor of vitamin A, and tocotrienols, an extremely potent form of vitamin E.
Vitamin E is the major lipid soluble antioxidant in your skin. The potent antioxidant tocotrienols have even more beneficial actions on your skin – your first line of defense against free radicals generated by your environment.
Minimally processed palm oil, like that used in Natural Body Butter, contains other phyto-nutrients, including phytosterols, squalene, CoQ10, and mixed carotenoids, offering a host of natural and wholesome phyto-nutrients. Palm oil boasts the most significant amounts of tocotrienols available.
You’d be better served by switching to skin care products made of plant names you recognize, can pronounce, and could even eat (if you had to).
